RIP: Grandfather of Loughmore Castleiney hurler sadly passes away

There was great sadness in Loughmore Castleiney GAA earlier this week after the news of the passing of Pat 'Rucker' McCormack on Tuesday.

Grandfather of current Loughmore Castleiney hurler Ciaran McCormack - who will line out in this Sunday's county final - McCormack was a hugely popular figure in the club.

Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Catherine and Brigid, sons Pat, Connie and Michael, brother Neily, sister Kathleen, grandchildren Jamie, Marie, Padraic, Ciaran, Stephen and Kerry, great-grandchild Emily, sons in law Tomás and Paddy, daughter in law Amanda, nephews, nieces, sisters in law, brothers in law, relatives and a very large circle of great friends.

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore this Thursday Evening from 5pm to 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday in the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady Loughmore at 11.30 am. Interment in the adjoining Cemetery afterward.
