Tipperary County Council are hiring for a new position with salary up to €80K

Tipperary County Council is currently seeking to hire a new Executive Health and Safety Officer.

The role of Executive Health and Safety Officer encompasses a wide variety of responsibilities - for example, carrying out safety inspections and providing advice and support on health, safety and welfare requirements in relation to the maintenance of facilities and buildings.

The salary scale for this position ranges from €57,909 to €80,498. However, it's worth noting for anyone interested in applying that candidates who are not currently a local authority employee will start on the minimum end of the scale. 

The normal working hours listed for the role are 35 hours per week. Anyone interested will also be glad to know that flexible working arrangements are available with this position.

There are a range of requirements candidates must have when applying to this job. Firstly, candidates must have an Honours Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Architecture, and/or Science. At a minimum, you must have a Diploma
in Occupational Health & Safety. 

People who wish to apply must also have at least five years of relevant experience in the field of health and safety.
