Rory O'Farrell passed away on Tuesday
He is predeceased by his beloved father Michael.
Rory is deeply regretted by his loving wife Karen & cherished sons Senan, Riàn, Kevin & Michael His Mother Catherine (Birdie), Sisters Ann-Marie (David), Carmel (Richard), brothers Pat, Conor (Sinèad)& Mike (Caroline), mother in law Kathleen, father in law Kevin, Sister in law Kim (Darragh), aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours, his colleagues at P.T.S.B & his many friends.
Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Rory, with one mourner writing,
"Sending on all our love & strength to each of you Karen, Senan, Rian, Kevin and Michael on the loss of your beloved Rory. Deepest sympathies to you & all the family. Rory was a lovely, genuine guy, he will be missed by many. Rest in peace Rory xx"
Another wrote,
"Karen, Senan, Rían, Michael, Kevin & all the extended family…. We are so very sorry to hear the awful sad news about Rory. He was such a lovely guy. We stood on many sidelines with him over the last few years. He was so proud of his boys. Always encouraging & advising them. We will miss the chats."
While another wrote,
"Our heartfelt condolences to the O’Farrell family on the passing of Rory. He was our colleague and friend in the Bank and was always ‘one of the good guys’. We will be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers at this extremely difficult time."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at his home in Stoneyhigh, Nenagh (E45 V129) this Thursday (October 24) from 4pm to 7pm. His remains will arrive at St.Mary's of the Rosary Church, Nenagh on Friday (Ocotber 25) for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Livestream of this Mass can be viewed on nenaghparish.ie followed by burial in Lisboney New Cemetery.
