Former Ireland international Felix Jones is favourite to become next Munster rugby Head Coach, according to Ladbrokes.

Following the departure of Head Coach Graham Rowntree, Jones has appeared as favourite to take up the mantle. Backing has come in for the former Leinster man at 3/1 to be named the next head coach.

Paul O’Connell has also been rumoured to be taking up the role (7/2). Keith Earls (4/1), Peter Stringer (5/1) and Jerry Flannery (6/1) have had their names pop up in the conversation too.

Former Ireland and Munster winger Simon Zebo stands at 100/1 to be take up the renowned spot.

Munster will be hoping for a quick pick-me-up with the new Head Coach following a dismal start to the United Rugby Championship that sees them languishing in 12th after six games.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes has said: “A Felix Jones return to Munster looks to be on the cards . If the betting is to be believed, he’s the man the punters want to see as Head Coach in Thomond Park.”
