Infinity Salon in Mullinahone was crowned “Nail Salon of The Year” for Munster in a ceremony at the Irish Hair and Beauty Awards which took place on October 27 in the Cork International Hotel.
The Irish Hair and Beauty Awards is a yearly award ceremony celebrating the highest standard of beauty and hair professionals.
Owner Kate Whelan has received high praise for her salon which has won her the accolade of best nail bar in the province.
The salon finished in second place in 2023, and 2024 is the year Kate received the glass trophy and certificate to signify her achievement.
Kate, is a multi-award-winning beauty specialist who has been making waves in the nail industry by finishing in second place “Nail Salon of The Year” from the 4 Countries of Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England.
Kate was invited to travel to Liverpool in May 2024 for the award ceremony which took place in the Hilton.
Off the back of her hard work and success, Kate has opened a second branch, “Infinity Salon and Training Academy” located at 37 Gladstone Street, Clonmel.
As well as being a full time nail technician and salon owner, Kate has undergone a year of training to become a qualified educator.
Courses for aspiring nail professionals will be on offer in the brand new training academy starting in January 2025.
