Edward O'Grady trained Any Road to win the two-mile-four-furlong rated hurdle at Fairyhouse on Tuesday. Ridden by Mark McDonagh, the 15/2 chance carried the trainer's colours to an easy eight-and-a-half-length success.
David Doyle rode Delias Pet to win the two-mile-four-furlong handicap hurdle on the same card. Trained by his father Tim and owned by mother, Claire, the 7/1 chance prevailed by half-a-length.
Denis Hogan sent out 11/2 chance Sporting Hero to win the opening six-furlong claiming race at Dundalk on Wednesday. Ridden by Nicola Burns, the Winning Chance Syndicate-owned victor scored by a short head.
The David Marnane-trained Tomarlo justified odds of 11/4 favourite under Luke McAteer in the six-furlong nursery. Owned by MRC International, the market leader beat Vanilla Baby by one-and-a-quarter-lengths.
Pat Doyle and son Jack won the opening two-mile-three-furlong maiden hurdle at Clonmel on Thursday with Brave Fortune. Sent off the even money favourite, the Linda Mulcahy and Mary Wolridge-owned scored by five-and-a-half lengths.
Andrew Slattery and Cian Quirke landed the three-mile handicap hurdle with Plains Indian. Sent off a 9/1 shot, the Eithne Thompson-owned winner scored by two-and-a-half lengths.
Nathan Crosse rode Blue Soul to win the one-mile handicap at Dundalk on Friday evening. Trained by Ger Lyons, the Declan Landy owned 25/1 outsider kept on well to win by half-a-length.
But What won the two-mile maiden hurdle at Gowran Park on Saturday for Andrew Slattery and Cian Quirke. A 100/30 chance, the Margaret Slattery-owned gelding prevailed by half-a-length.
Delias Pet followed up her win from earlier in the week when doubling up for Tim Doyle, his wife Claire, and their son David in the two-mile-three-furlong handicap hurdle.
Easily defying a 7lbs penalty for the Fairyhouse success, the 7/2 joint-favourite won by two-and-three-quarter lengths.
