Tipperary footballers shortlisted for Australian Rules awards after impressive seasons

Two Tipperary players in the AFLW have earned spots on the All-Australian shortlist.

Cahir natives Aishling Moloney and Aisling McCarthy are both included in the 42-player shortlist for the team of the year after stellar seasons for their respective clubs.

Moloney has quickly risen in the AFLW, wrapping up her second season with the Geelong Cats as one of the league's top scorers, tying for the lead with 21 goals in the regular season.

Meanwhile, Aisling McCarthy has had an outstanding season with her new team, the Fremantle Dockers. She has been a key player, driving their success as they prepare for the semi-finals this weekend.

The final selection for the 21-player All-Australian team will be revealed on Monday, November 25th.
