Tipperary county hurling medalist set to go to Lebanon on tour of duty

Kiladangan senior hurler Fergal Hayes will embark on a peacekeeping tour with the Irish Defence Forces.

Hayes, who has won two county medals in 2020 and 2023 with his club - will head for the Lebanon this week where he will be on a six-month tour of duty.

The cornerback has been a regular feature of Kiladangan's successful period over the last decade, and his club took to social media to wish him the best of luck on his upcoming tour. See below.
