After a year without Christmas lights, Fethard ready to shine again this festive season, and they need help to make it happen.
For 2024, the Fethard Community Council and the Fethard Business and Tourism Group are raising funds to bring back the Christmas lights that will transform the town into a winter wonderland.
They are aiming to raise €13,000 to purchase new LED lights and cover installation costs, ensuring that Fethard is beautifully lit throughout the festive season.
The switch-on will take place on Sunday, December 1, accompanied by a Christmas Street Market, a Craft Fair at the Community Convent Hall, and a special visit from Santa Claus, bringing the community together to spread festive cheer.
