Tributes have been paid to Anne Marie Mullins, who has retired as Branch Manager of Clonmel Library.
Anne Marie worked in Tipperary County Council’s library service for almost 40 years and was manager of Clonmel Library for several years.
County Librarian Damien Dullaghan has stated that Anne Marie was an excellent branch manager who worked to deliver the best possible library service to the people of Clonmel.
Mr Dullaghan told a meeting of Clonmel Borough District that she would be a big loss but that the library had a very able replacement in Paul Devane, who had previously served as Deputy Manager, and who would do a superb job.
Deputy Mayor Pat English said that Anne Marie Mullins was always very approachable and helpful, and she would be a big loss.
He wished new manager Paul Devane all the best in the role.
