There was a Clonmel reunion at Adi Roche's conferring with an honorary doctorate at UCC
Clonmel Rowing Club’s Tom Fennessey (second from left), pictured above with Adi Roche and her brothers Concubhar de Roiste and Donal de Roiste, in Cork when Adi, the founder and Voluntary CEO of Chernobyl Children International (CCI), was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate from NUI University College Cork (UCC).
Tom Fennessey was Adi’s first coach when she was a member of the rowing club in Clonmel, where she was born and grew up, and there were many stories and reminiscences about their home town when the group got together.
