Blood donation clinic will be held in Tipperary next week

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) will hold a blood donation clinic at the Newport Community Centre on Wednesday, January 8, from 4.50pm to 8.10pm.

The clinic is open to both new and returning donors, with appointments available by calling 1800 222 111.

IBTS is urging everyone to make a special effort to donate blood during this period, as 45 normally scheduled clinics will not be held over the holiday season. The need for donations is especially high as hospitals continue to require blood for transfusions, with over 200 patients receiving blood daily.

New donors are welcome at all clinics, and the IBTS encourages members of the local community to consider giving blood during this vital time. To make a booking, please call 1800 222 111.
