Moyne-Templetuohy GAA club held a very successful fundraiser over the festive period.
They were thrilled with the turnout and a spokesperson said: "Sincerest thanks to all who made the entire day a massive success. The players committee, spear-headed by Mark Ryan, got tremendous support from the parish and beyond with 39 teams registering to play.
"The table quiz and raffle which were so generously supported also raised massive funds. The day would not have been the achievement it was without the help of Paul Kelly, Marie and Dolores in the shop, Dermot and Jody on commentary, volunteers who did the stewarding, catering, refereeing, amplification, team and group sorting.
"The table quiz needed a big backroom team of Mark Ryan, Jim O'Meara, Mark Dunne and Tom Hassett. Thanks also to Fitzpatrick's and Gary Breen for their hosting and organising in the lead up to the night."
