Organisers of the Holycross Village Market say the Christmas market was great fun and a great success on December 14.
They say Santa and Mrs Claus received a great welcome, their complimentary "Soup & Brown Bread" went down a treat, as did the mulled wine, and Christmas Wish Ribbons were popular on the day.
They are delighted to announce that €605 was donated to St Vincent de Paul – Holycross Ballycahill.
They offer their thanks to all who contributed and to the team of volunteers who made it all possible.
Many participated in the floral Gift & Lift initiative for self care while having an opportunity to lift the spirits of another.
Raffle winners were Mary Coman, Mary McLoughney, Mary Ryan and Margaret Lowry.
As they take a break until Easter, they sincerely thank everyone who visited and supported the Village Market during the year.
They offer thanks to the many traders, students, hard working team of volunteers and the parish of Holycross for the venues.
They wish you all a peaceful and prosperous new year.
