Calls for donations of leftover Christmas presents

Tipperary church : witnesses shocked by disturbance outside Nenagh church

Nenagh Parish Office has once again put out their annual call for donations of any leftover Christmas presents.

The parish office have said: "We trust you all had a Happy Christmas and everyone got at least one pressie that put a smile on your face? However, many of us often get two of the same thing, or something we had already or, let’s face it, something we will never use or need! That’s no reflection on the giver...it’s just life!!! Nenagh Parish Office will, once again, with much discretion, accept your unwanted or leftover Christmas presents."

The parish office will be accepting donated presents between 6-10 January and the following week they will distribute whatever they receive to local nursing homes and charities.

The parish office can be contacted by phone at 067-31272.
