Bansha Tidy Towns have said that they are angered by the rubbish being dumped on the Tipperary Road out if the village.
Images of the dumped rubbish were posted to their Facebook page on New Year's Day showcasing the extent to which the litter exists by the roadside.
In a post made by the organisation on Facebook, they said: "Fly tipping of rubbish is such a curse. The Tipperary Road out of Bansha close to the turn off for Chapel Road, Bansha Woods was a disgrace. But thanks civic minded volunteer this eyesore was cleaned up. Please dispose of your rubbish in an ethical way. Rubbish dumping like this CAN and WILL be traced."
One user commented on the post saying: "That's disgusting," with another saying: "This is awful but thanks to the person who cleaned it up.
