Conditional jockey Niall Prendergast gave trainer Paul Hennessy a famous winner when partnering Falcon Park to win the two-mile opportunity handicap hurdle.

Paul Hennessy is one of Ireland's leading greyhound trainers and became a Cheltenham Festival winning trainer in 2021 when the Richie Condon-ridden Heaven Help Us landed the Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle.

The 16/1 chance 'Falcon Park' came home for Mrs Susan E. Hennessy and went clear at the final hurdle to beat Ross O'Sullivan’s 100/30 shot Bishbashbosh by five and a half lengths on New Years eve.

The next race for Falcon Park was due to be in Clonmel on Thursday the 9th of January but with the difficult weather conditions this week it remains to be seen when the horse will next race.
