Double Tipperary county senior champions Loughmore Castleiney are on the lookout for new management teams in both codes ahead of the new season after it was confirmed that Eamonn Kelly and Shane Hennessy have stepped aside after a hugely successful campaign in 2024.

Kiladangan man Kelly led the hurlers to county honours after the county final win over Toomevara in October before the footballers under the tutelage of clubman Shane Hennessy completed a remarkable double for the Mid club the following Sunday, besting rivals Clonmel Commercials.

Along with Kelly, his hurling coach Aidan Stakelum has also parted ways with the club, returning to his home to coach his home club Holycross Ballycahill this year, and this is understood to be one of the main reasons for Kelly's departure.

Meanwhile, Shane Hennessy has stepped aside due to family circumstances but he will continue his role as Tipperary's Minor Football manager for 2025.
