Tributes paid following sad death of Tipp woman who was 'kind and compassionate to all'

Eileen McGrath passed away on Sunday

Tributes have been paid following the sad death of Eileen McGrath, late of Cormack Drive, Nenagh and late Carney, county Tipperary.

Eileen passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, surrounded by her loving family in Milford Care Centre, Limerick.

She is deeply missed by her son Denis, and daughters Sabrina and Brid. Sisters, Marian and Norah and brother Denis, Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews, friends and neighbours.

Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Eileen, with one mourner writing,

"Our sincere condolences to all Eileen’s family and close friends. I worked with Eileen when we were only teenagers and she was a gentle soul kind and compassionate to all. May she rest in eternal peace until we meet again."

Another wrote, 

"My condolences to all Eileen's family and friends on her very sad passing, such a nice person. RIP Eileen."

While a sweet message from her grandson reads,

"Rest in peace Nanny gonna miss you a lot love you lots until we meet again."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home in Nenagh, Tuesday January 21, from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal from Ryan's on Wednesday at 12.20pm to arrive at St. Mary’s of the Rosary Church, Nenagh at 1pm. Burial after in Cloughprior Cemetery, Carney.
