Tipperary's The 2 Johnnies address Late Late Show and Pat Spillane water controversy

The Tipperary duo discuss their Late Late Show appearance

The 2 Johnnies are back this week with another episode and there was one thing in particular both wanted to address to listeners on their weekly round-up.

Johnny B said: "We were on the Late Late Show and a lot of people were asking what's the story with drinking water."

The Tipperary duo were guests on last Friday's Late Late show alongside Pat Spillane and Seamus Darby.

He explains: "So there's four chairs, Pat Spillane was closest to the presenter, then Smacks, then me.

"Then there was an empty chair, now, I don't know about you, for me, I also drank the wrong water cause there was an empty chair beside me and we were in for a short chat."

In the time before Seamus Darby came out onto the stage, Johnny B explains that he had picked up the glass of water to his left when he should have reached for the one on his right. He explained that when he saw Darby come out he switched the glasses so that the untouched glass was in front of him.

"I had this down for my dirt of the week but I'll address it now on the weekly round-up.

"A fella emailed, he went to the bother of emailing us to let us know that I drank the wrong water."

Johnny B continued: "I always drink with my left hand because I started playing a drinking game years ago where you had to drink with your left hand.

"I'm still keeping it going."

He explains that he did not know Seamus Darby was coming out to the stage as Smack added: "No one did that was a surprise."

Johnny B said: "He was a complete surprise so as soon as Paddy Kielty was like "Seamus Darby!" I though f*ck and I done the switcheroo with the two glasses of water.

"I'm glad I did because Seamus Darby floored the glass of water!"
