Planning application lodged

Planning has been lodged for an 18-metre high mast in a Tipperary village.

On Tower Ireland Limited is seeking planning permission from Tipperary County Council to install a 18m monopole type telecommunications support structure.

It also includes carrying antenna and dishes enclosed within a 2.4 metre high palisade fenced compound together with associated ground equipment cabinets and associated site works.

The development address is at Abbey Machinery, Knockeevan, Ballyclerihan, county Tipperary.

The council has until March 20 to make its decision.
