An Bord Pleanála has upheld Tipperary County Council’s decision to grant planning permission for a poultry farm development at Lisronagh near Clonmel.

The planning appeals board has granted approval with 13 revised conditions to Charlie Purcell, C/O NRGE Ltd of Main Street, Ballyporeen to construct two poultry houses, a services room, feed bins, wash collection tanks, roof solar panels, access roadway, a wastewater treatment system and percolation area at Caherclogh, Lisronagh.

It ruled the development wouldn’t have an adverse impact on the character of the area or amenities of adjoining properties and would be in accordance with the proper planning and development of the area.
