There was a sense of pride and celebration at Cistercian College Roscrea recently as past pupil Max Flynn made a special return to his alma mater.
A rising star in Irish rugby, the Galway native has been making headlines with the Ireland U20s squad.
His visit to the College was marked by a heartfelt moment as he presented his Ireland U20s jersey to College President Colm Maloney, a gesture that symbolized both his journey and the deep connection he still holds with his former school.
For those who knew him during his time at the College, Max’s success comes as no surprise. His dedication, skill, and relentless work ethic were evident from the start, and now he’s making his mark on the rugby field at a national level.
As Max continues his journey in the sport, one thing is certain—his former school and all of Tipperary will be cheering him on every step of the way.
