Tipperary’s rugby stars continue to make their mark on the international stage, with Fethard’s Beth Buttimer and Nenagh’s Catríona Finn among eight uncapped players named in Ireland’s extended squad for the upcoming Women’s Six Nations.

They’ll be joined by fellow Fethard player Dorothy Wall, a key figure in the squad, as well as Amee-Leigh Costigan from Tipperary Town, adding to the Premier County’s strong representation in the national team.

With such talent emerging from Tipperary clubs, local rugby fans will have plenty to cheer for when the Six Nations kicks off.
