Tipperary players in Irish rugby squad to face England

Diarmuid Barron from Racecourse Cross, New Inn and Loughmore’s Brian Gleeson have been included on Ireland’s Senior A Rugby team to face England this weekend.

Barron, a former student of Rockwell College, will be joined by another alumnus, Brian Gleeson, as Ireland prepare to take on England this Sunday at 1pm at Ashton Gate in Bristol.

The Tipp men are joined in the squad by Munster teammates Oli Jager, Alex Kendellen, Evan O’Connell, Fineen Wycherley, Shane Daly and Ben O’Connor.

This selection is a testament to Gleeson and Barron’s hard work and dedication to the sport.
