Programme to aid in increased mobility kicks off in Local Tipperary town

The sun was shining brightly as the first session of the Activator Walking Programme kicked off in Cahir.

The organisers wish a big well done to all participants who joined them for this six week programme.

The programme is designed to enhance mobility, strength, balance and aerobic fitness.

Activator poles are an excellent tool for staying active, offering added support and stability for participants of all ages and abilities.

They are particularly beneficial for those recovering from or preparing for hip or knee surgery helping to improve posture, increase walking efficiency and reduce the impact on joints.

The Healthy Ireland Fund is supported by The Department of Health.
