Cllr Louise Morgan Walsh has confirmed on social media this week that bestselling author and Nenagh native Donal Ryan will be the Grand Marshall for this year's St Patrick's Day parade.
The parade is returning to Nenagh this year for the first time since 2020 and will follow a different route, starting at 1pm it will begin in Nenagh Railway Station and make it's way up through the town finishing at Banba square.
The parade will occur in conjunction with the annual music and crafts festival also occurring in Nenagh.
