ePower has installed charge points for electric vehicles at four Horse Racing Ireland (HRI)-owned racecourses - Leopardstown, Fairyhouse, Navan and Tipperary.

The Irish firm was engaged by Horse Racing Ireland via public tender to install chargers at eight separate locations across the four venues.

The new 22kW chargers will serve racegoers on race days, as well as other visitors and staff throughout the year.

They are all remotely monitored by the ePower charger operations centre and are supported by  a 24/7 helpdesk.
