Owners of properties in three Tipperary towns can get grants to spruce up their premises

Thurles Municipal District is seeking to improve the streetscape and public realm of Thurles, Templemore and Roscrea through its Painting and Enhancement Scheme grant supporting owners of properties in the centres of the three town to improve their buildings and public areas. 

Works supported under the Thurles MD Painting and Enhancement Scheme include: 

·  Removal of inappropriate contemporary signage, fittings, and general clutter and replacement with shop fascia signage (with an emphasis on hand-painted signage);

· Painting and general improvements to the frontages of commercial and residential buildings 

· Erection of planters, floral hanging baskets, or other environmental  improvements

Application forms are available on Tipperary County Council's website or by emailing una.osullivan@tipperarycoco.ie
