RIP: Tributes paid after sister of well-known Tipperary publican passes away

Formerly of Main Street, Kilfinane and Ballydrehid, Cahir, Chrissie was a beloved member of a large and well-known family

The community of New Inn and beyond extends its deepest sympathies to Jerry and Phill Ryan and the extended Ryan family of Ollie's Bar, following the sad passing of Phill's sister, Chrissie O'Sullivan (née Lonergan) of Kilmallock, county Limerick.

Formerly of Main Street, Kilfinane and Ballydrehid, Cahir, Chrissie was a beloved member of a large and well-known family with deep roots across south Tipperary and Limerick.

Chrissie is fondly remembered by her son Eddie, daughter-in-law Mags, and grandchildren Abi and Paddy.

She is also mourned by her brothers Ned, John, Paddy, and Jimmy; her sisters Kathleen (Tuohy, Cahir), Philly (Ryan, New Inn), and Agnes (Reardon, Shanbally, Clogheen); and her dear friends Margaret Hennessy and Bridget Cunneen.

Chrissie will be sadly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and wide circle of friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Paddy, her son Patrick, and her parents Edmond and Bridget Lonergan.

Chrissie's passing is felt deeply by all who knew her, and the local community joins her family in remembering a life filled with love, warmth and kindness.
