Walter Phillips

Walter Phillips, Collins Park, Thurles and formerly Mc Cann Street, Cashel, Co.Tipperary. Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family. In the wonderful care of the staff of Nenagh General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Billy and Bridie, infant sister Frances, brothers Eddie, Billy, Jimmy and John, sisters Jane-Anne, Josie (Ivers), Bridie (Moloney) and Maggie (Manton). Deeply regretted by his loving family; devoted wife Kathleen (née Kenneally), daughters Maria (Woodlock) and Suzy (Burgess), son Billy, grandchildren Sean, Ciarán, James and Roisín, sons-in-law Jim and Colin, daughter-in-law Elaine, brothers Paddy and Pious, sisters Maura (Hill) and Kathleen (Coleman), nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law Brian, Bert and Willie, sisters-in-law Catherine and Noreen, relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday 26th April from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Sunday 27th April at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles.

Mary Glavin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Mary Glavin of Tearmann Uí Chaoimh, James's Street, and Clonmel Road, Mitchelstown, and formerly of Lisvernane, Glen of Aherlow, Co. Tipperary, who passed away on Thursday, 24th April 2025, in her 99th year, in the loving and tender care of the matron and staff of Corpus Christi Nursing Home, Mitchelstown.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister, nieces, nephews, relatives and her many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Funeral arrangements will be announced in the coming days.

Sean Dwan

The death has occurred of Sean Dwan (Kilbeg, Clogheen, Co Tipperary) on 24th April 2025 peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel. Very sadly missed by his adoring family, wife Leysh (Bailey) sons John and Frank, and daughter Emma, son-in-law and partners, extended family, friends and neighbours. Sean is predeceased by his loving parents John and Mary Dwan.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at his family home in Kilbeg, Clogheen (E21 E985) on Friday 25th April from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Burncourt arriving for Funeral Mass at 12pm followed by burial in Shanrahan Cemetery, Clogheen. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.

Tom Cashin

Tom Cashin, Dun Muilleann, Monakeeba, Thurles, Co Tipperary, unexpectedly at his home. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Josie, his brothers and sisters.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Tom Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Dermot Ronan's Funeral Home, Ballingarry on Friday (April 25th) from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to The Church Of The Assumption, Ballingarry for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Tommy Ryan Haven

Tommy Ryan Haven, Graffin, Clonmore, Templemore, Co. Tipperary, 24th of April 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the Doctors, Nurses and Medical Team in Tipperary University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Peggy and brother William.

Deeply regretted by his brothers Denis and Martin, sisters Maura, Nancy, Theresa, Helen, Margaret and Philomena, sisters-in-law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives’ neighbours and friends.

May Tommy’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home Templemore (E41TR83) on Saturday Evening from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 2pm in Grey’s Funeral Home followed by cremation service in Grey’s Funeral Home afterwards.
