A Tipperary campsite has been named the best in Ireland at a recent awards ceremony.
Ballinacourty House, Caravan and Camping Park in the Glen of Aherlow outside Tipperary Town has been named the Best Campsite in Ireland by the ACSI Awards.
The Tipperary campsite was the only Irish site to be recognised at this year's awards, which honours campsites and caravan parks across Europe and further afield.

The Tipperary winner thanked their customers in a post on social media after winning the award.
"Thank you all for your continuous support through the many years. It has been a pleasure, and always will be, to welcome you to our hidden gem at Ballinacourty House," they wrote.

"We look forward to seeing you all throughout this season and all the rest to come," they added.
