Best friends Richie McGrath, Niall Walsh and Ian O'Dwyer
Tipperary man Niall Walsh defied all the odds last week and completed a 10km at the Great Limerick Run. Niall, who was born with cerebral palsy has faced challenges that would stop many in their tracks but Niall persevered and completed this goal with great courage and determination.
Niall's friend and fellow runner on the day Richie McGrath commented on Niall's amazing achievement:
"With unwavering grit, unshakable resilience, and a heart full of courage, Niall walked every step of the 10km Limerick marathon. Not for glory, not for praise—but to prove that limits are only real if we accept them. His journey wasn’t just about distance—it was about defying expectations, pushing boundaries, and inspiring everyone lucky enough to witness it.
"Niall, your strength is unmatched, your spirit unstoppable. You didn’t just complete a race—you lit a path for others to believe in the impossible. Thank you for showing us the true meaning of bravery."
Congratulations to Niall on a fantastic achievement!
