Carrick-on-Suir GAA club to host Africa Day celebration this weekend

Carrick Davins GAA Club will once again host the Friends of Bridgewater House Africa Day family fun evening this Friday, May 23 from 6pm to 8.30pm.

This fun-filled community event will feature bouncy castles, a magic show, face painting, pony rides, and African DJ, food and refreshments.

There will be a prize awarded for Best African Dress. All are welcome to attend a fantastic evening of culture, colour and fun.
Representing Tipp

Well done to the young Davins Club players who played for county teams over the past week.

Alex Stuart played on the Under 15 Tipperary football team that played Limerick and Cork in two tough matches.

Jamie O’Shea lined out with the Under 14 South Tipperary team in their clash with West Cork.

Rosegreen Blitz

The Under 11s enjoyed a brilliant weekend, travelling to Rosegreen for a blitz where they played the hosts and Ballyporeen.

They were two very entertaining games and the Davins Club players displayed great improvement in their play.

Oasis Tickets Raffle

Tickets are on sale for the Club’s raffle of two tickets to see Oasis perform at Croke Park on Saturday, August 16. The draw will be on July 31.

Raffle tickets cost €10 each or 3 for €25 and can be purchased through the Club’s website or from any club seller

Fixture

Carrick Davins Under 15 football team will play Ballingarry in the County Under 15 C Division One semi-final in Mullinahone at 11am on Sunday, May 25.

Lotto

The Club’s lotto jackpot wasn’t won last week.
Tickets cost €2 each and can be purchased online or from our usual sellers.
