An urgent appeal has been made in Tipperary for a Euromillions syndicate lotto ticket.

'This is a long shot but I bought Euromillions lotto tickets in Lidl on Friday around 4pm.'

An urgent appeal has been made in Tipperary for a Euromillions syndicate lotto ticket.

A message on the Tipp Town community Facebook page reads: "This is a long shot but I bought Euromillions lotto tickets in Lidl on Friday around 4pm.

"It was for a work syndicate so it was a large amount. The tickets fell out of my pocket in the car park.

"When I went back to look for them I was told a child picked them up. If anyone knows who picked them up it would be great if they could drop them into Lidl. Thank you."

A top prize of €500,000 was scooped up by a Dubliner in the EuroMillions Plus in the Friday night Euromillions draw.

While the jackpot held steady at €250 million and the top prize continues to roll once again, one Dubliner is celebrating their life-changing win.

The lucky player bought a Quick Pick ticket on Wednesday, June 11, at Daybreak, Loughlinstown Shopping Centre in Loughlinstown, county Dublin.
