Jim of the Mills will host a celebration of Lughnasa on August 16 & 17

The iconic Upperchurch pub Jim of the Mills is hosting a special gather this August 16 & 17.
They are bringing people together to rejoice in the celebration of Lughnasa.
Starting Saturday and finishing on Sunday they are welcoming one and all to attend with camping available around the Mill.
Kicking off on Saturday at 12pm with an opening cirle, the day will see performances and workshops from Roibéard Ó Heochaidh's Amanita Reawakening, Karen Egan's Embodied Pleasure, Seán O' Farrell's Farming with Nature and much more until an evening concert with Ultain O'Brien, Owen Stafford and Cáit Ní Riain.
Sunday will see a similar schedule with a slightly earlier start time of 11am with Imbas Ióga. Flo McAleer will perform spoken word and song, Lila will share the story of Lugh and Diarmuid Lyng will be around for some Wild Hurling. The evening will see a tug of war competition followed by evening performances from Danny O'Mahony and more.
