The victorious Scarteen Hunt Pony Club team
Scarteen Hunt Pony Club won the Alice Mernagh Cup at the Irish Pony Club National Festival.
The SJ team of four qualified at the area qualifier in Crecora in May for the Festival in Barnadown Equestrian Centre in Wexford.
The four riders were Lauren MacMahon, Lucy Ryan, Beau Bourke and Hannah McCoy.

All went clear in round one of the showjumping competition of 31 teams from across the country.
They entered the second round jump-off with 12 others, and one rider from each team had to go against the clock, with the fastest winning.

Lauren and her pony Loughwell Lucas jumped a super fast round to take the team into first place by just 0.2 of a second.
The Scarteen Hunt Pony Club also saw Sarah Ryan take second place in the Open Individual class and Lauren MacMahon was third in the Under 12s combined training.
Scarteen Hunt Pony Club have a fantastic group of talented and amazing kids who all have a passion for horses and friendships.
The DCs (District Commissioners) of the club are Louise Rennie and Irene Casey.
