  Clonmel public representative Cllr Richie Molloy has come out in support of secretaries and caretaker staff who are on strike in Tipperary schools.

Cllr Molloy joined the picket this week as school staff continue their battle to be included in public service pensions and basic work entitlements.

“I  support  all school secretaries and caretakers who are the lifeblood of any school and have been left down by successive Governments and now it's high time that they are treated the same as all employees in the educational sector," said Cllr Molloy.
