Disqualified BMW driver arrested in Tipperary after being caught doing shocking speed on M7

A disqualified driver was arrested after being caught speeding on the M7 at Nenagh.

Tipperary Roads Policing Unit were monitoring the motorway on August 30 during hazardous wind and rain conditions on that Sunday morning when the vehicle was intercepted travelling at 156km/h.

On stopping the car, gardaí discovered the motorist was already disqualified.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous and disqualified driving, charged to appear in court, and the car was removed.
