Well done to all Ursulines involved with Munster over the weekend!
The Ursuline in Thurles had four players on last weekend’s Munster U16s Interpros team who finished second overall.
It was a brilliant result, with Ulster the outright winners of the tournament.
They beat Leinster South 3-0 on Friday with UCT’s Gabrielle getting on the scoresheet.

On Saturday they drew 1-1 with Leinster, with Ursuline’s Emma in Third Year, scoring the Munster goal from a short corner.
This clash was eventually settled on shuttles with Munster securing the bonus point.
They then beat Connacht 2-0 with Emma getting both goals from short corners.
For her outstanding contribution over the tournament weekend Emma received an individual award, the game changer award.

Sarah and Emma were excellent as joint captains and all four UCT U16s, Emma, Sarah, Leah and Gabrielle played brilliantly.
Katya in Fifth Year lined out for the Munster U18 squad.
This team beat Leinster South 3-0 on Friday and overcame Ulster 2-0. They lost to Leinster 2-0 yesterday and lost 1-0 to Connacht by conceding in the final minute. A cruel way to lose but they played very well throughout the weekend beating Ulster, the eventual winners.
Well done to all Ursulines involved with Munster over the weekend, they represented themselves, their families, their school, their clubs and their province with distinction!
