LIVE: Urgent appeal after car stolen in Tipperary and found later with 'extensive damage'

The vehicle, a navy Mazda Demio (registration 142-D), was found with a broken driver's side back window.

Witnesses reported a young male driver acting erratically.

Tipperary TD Mattie McGrath has issued an update after a car was stolen in Clonmel on Tuesday, September 9 and later found with "extensive damage".

The car was located in Martins Car Park at 12:55pm the same day. It was stolen from the Westgate Car Park.

Witnesses reported a young male driver acting erratically.

The vehicle, a navy Mazda Demio (registration 142-D), was found with a broken driver's side back window.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed anyone with the car is asked to report to Clonmel gardaí or contact 052-612 9155.

Deputy McGrath added: "Please keep an eye out and report any sightings immediately."
