Tipperary hotel praised for gesture to family out for dinner with 20-year-old autistic son

Baileys Hotel Cashel has been praised for its thoughtfulness and care following a family’s recent dining experience.

Posting on the Tipp Town page, a diner shared their gratitude to the hotel staff after their family of four sat down for a meal during a busy evening service.

Initially seated at a table with high stools, their 20-year-old autistic son was unable to use the seating provided.

Within 10 minutes, despite the restaurant being full, the staff arranged for the family to be moved to a quieter table with chairs.

The gesture turned what could have been a stressful situation into a happy evening together.

“Our son was so happy and, as you can imagine, so were we,” the message read. “I can’t thank the staff enough for making what could have been a complete meltdown into a lovely evening with family and amazing food.”

Locals described it as a simple but powerful example of kindness in action, with many congratulating Baileys Hotel Cashel for going the extra mile.
