Cahir native Eamon O'Keeffe at The Traitors Ireland wrap-party and INSET: Eamon with fellow Traitor and retired prison officer Paudie Moloney
Perhaps one of Irish TV's greatest villains in living memory, and star of the RTÉ hit The Traitors Ireland Eamon O'Keeffe has penned an emotional tribute to his time on the first season of the show after a raucous wrap-party and watchalong with his fellow cast members during this week's finale.
Cahir native and member of An Garda Síochána, O'Keeffe revealed to the Tipperary Star in a recent interview that the cast were set to meet at a Dublin hotel, before being driven to a secret location to a viewing party sponsored by Very.
In what was a very Traitors-esque move, none of the cast were told ahead of Tuesday night where they will be driven to and what was in store.

The entire cast of Season 1 partied into the early hours of the morning, and dressed the part too (see below).
After taking a day or two to catch his breath, O'Keeffe posted a number of snaps from the night with his fellow TV stars with the following caption:
"Lads...WHAT A NIGHT!
"What an experience! Just unforgettable.
"I'm only coming half right now to be able to post about it.
"Loved every single minute of it, getting to close out this once in a life time experience with all these incredible people.
"I'm sad it's over but so happy to have lived it.
"Thanks to everyone for the kind messages and support over the last month I really appreciate it.
"I'm the 1st Traitor in the History of The Traitors Ireland!
And the 1st to be caught! I’ll take that small victory.
The cloak is well and truly hung up.
"Let's see what's next..."
The Tipperary man also congratulated the three winners of the show; Oyin, Vanessa, and Kelly, and consoled Ben and Nick on a well fought finale for the Traitors.
It has since been confirmed that the smash hit reality show will return on RTÉ for a second season.
