The Irish Wheelchair Association in Fethard has secured €50,000 funding for a new bus to support its works. 
Senator Imelda Goldsboro said she was pleased to confirm the funding and thanked her colleague Minister for Children, Equality Integration & Youth Norma Foley, the HSE and Senator Anne Rabbitte. 
"The Irish Wheelchair Association offers crucial support for adults with disabilities, promoting independence, choice and empowerment.
"This is such an essential local service in Fethard and It's good to see this critical money allocated for IWA members' transport.
"This is a project that I have worked on when I was a councillor, and I am now delighted to have delivered on it," the Fianna Fáil Senator said in a post on her Facebook page.
