'Love of my life,': Tipperary hurling star Michael Breen posts loving pic with girlfriend Sharlene Mawdsley

Tipperary hurler Michael Breen took to Instagram over the weekend posting a doting photo with his partner, Olympian Sharlene Mawdsley.

Breen posted a photo of the couple, with the caption “Loml.”

The pair attended the meeting of the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL on Sunday afternoon in Croke Park.

Breen returned to the scene of the All-Ireland Hurling Final, in which he played a pivotal role in Tipperary’s 15-point victory over Cork, to take Liam MacCarthy back to the Premier County for the first time since 2019.

Mawdsley formed a relationship with All-Ireland winner Michael Breen earlier this year, and the pair went Instagram official earlier this summer.

Earlier in August, Mawdsley lit up Morton Stadium on the opening day of the 123.ie National Senior Athletics Championships last weekend, powering to victory in the women’s 200 metres final.

Mawdsley, in front of Tipperary All-Ireland winning hurler and boyfriend Michael Breen, crossed the line into a stiff breeze in 23.55 (-2.6 m/s).
