LATEST: Water outages set to hit Tipperary as repair work set to commence

Uisce Éireann wishes to notify customers in Cashel of two nights of planned outages that are scheduled to take place this week to facilitate mains repair works in the town.

Customers in Roselawn Close, McCann Street, Friar Street, Castlegreen Avenue, Castlegreen Crescent, Hill View, Old Road, The Green, Slí Chormaic and the surrounding area may experience some disruption to their water supply from 11pm on Tuesday, September 30, to 4am on Wednesday, October 1.

Meanwhile customers in Mountjudkin, Camus Road, The Kiln, Moor Lane, Crotty’s Lane, Lána Croke, Ard Mór, Dualla Road, Bohermore, Caisean Na Rí, Rockview, Deerpark Garden, Cahir Road and the surrounding areas may also experience some disruption to their water supply from 11pm on Wednesday, October 1, to 4am on Thursday, October 2.

Uisce Éireann’s Dave Murphy said, “We understand the inconvenience caused by an interruption to supply. Every effort will be made to limit the impact of these essential works, and we would like to thank the community in advance for their patience and co-operation.

“Following the completion of the works, it can take two to three hours for normal water supply to return to customers as water refills the network, particularly for those properties on higher ground or at the end of the network.”
