Council proposing to close section of Clonmel town centre street for over two weeks

Tipperary County Council is proposing to make an order to close a section of Upper Gladstone Street in Carrick-on-Suir for over a fortnight to facilitate the repair and replacement of water mains.

The Council is proposing to close the section of the street from its junction with Kickham Street to its junction with Queen Street from 7am on Monday, October 27 to 7am on Friday, November 14.

Traffic travelling from Kickham Park or Prior Park Road should divert via R707 Queen Street, L-3605 Bolton Street and Mary   Street and R884 O’Connell Street.

Local access will be granted for residents.

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Thursday, October 9 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
