She shared that she and her partner, All-Ireland winning hurler Michael Breen, are currently renting and only just starting to settle into their new home.
While it doesn’t feel like their “forever home”, she said they are investing in items like a new couch and beds that they’ll bring with them when they eventually buy.

"We're only renting so it feels hard to want to do the place up to how we would actually like our forever home. We are going to get some things like a new couch, new beds and some other bits that we've already got but we want to make sure we do love them so that when we do get our forever home we'll bring them with us."
On her post-athletics future, Mawdsley admitted she hasn’t decided what’s next once she hangs up her running spikes.
“Let's cross that bridge when we come to it. Honestly right now I’m unsure, I’ll have to think about it,” she told fans.
The sprinter also mentioned her dog, Lola, to fans — revealing she’s a cockapoo who was “meant to be a miniature one but she deffo isn’t.”
She joked about competition at home too, confirming that she can outpace her partner, an All-Ireland champion, over 100 metres, adding that “MB is more suited to the coaching”.
Mawdsley didn’t shy away from lifestyle questions either. When a fan complimented her hair and asked where she gets it done, she gave a shout-out to Urban Angels Hair Extensions.

The Q&A gave supporters a mix of fitness advice, personal glimpses, and light-hearted humour — showing another side to the athlete admired both on and off the track.
When asked about the best hamstring exercises, Mawdsley highlighted a few of her favourites: hamstring iso holds, the single-leg hamstring bridge, and single-leg Swiss ball rollouts and bridges.
