Carrick Swan GAA Club's Páirc na nEalaí
Carrick Swan Premier Intermediate hurlers play Boherlahan Dualla this coming Saturday in the county semi-final.
Throw-in is at 1.30pm in Semple Stadium. The Club wishes the team and its mentors the best of luck.
The Under 17A footballers played their first championship game on Sunday against Mullinahone. Despite a great effort, they were unfortunately beaten.
The Under 15 hurlers are awaiting the start of their Shield competition, while the Under 13 footballers are waiting confirmation of a possible Winter League.
The Club hosted a coffee morning in the Juvenile Hall last Saturday in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness. The support from the community was overwhelming, and the Club sincerely thanks all the ladies involved for making it such a success, and especially Mary Barrett for coordinating the event. The final amount raised will be confirmed soon.
The Swan Club is delighted to share that a stairlift has been installed in Páirc na nEalaí clubhouse.
This is a wonderful addition to the Club's facilities and will make the clubhouse more accessible to anyone with mobility issues.
Finally, all at Carrick Swan GAA Club extend deepest condolences to the Harris family of St. John’s Terrace, Carrick-on-Suir.
