Four Tipperary parishes will host a mission led by Redemptorist priests

Camino walk among events planned

'Candle of Hope' initiative aims to offer comfort

four Tipperary parished will host mission

Commencing on Sunday, 19 October with Masses in Emly and Nicker churches at 7.30 pm, the four parishes comprising the St Ailbe's pastoral combination will host a mission led by a team of Redemptorist priests.

The mission will continue until the following Friday and will include daily Masses in Lattin Church at 7.30 am and Emly at 9.30 am.

There will also be evening liturgies at 7.30 pm on alternative days in both churches.

Special events will include a 2.5k camino walk along St Ailbe's Pathway at 12 noon on the opening Sunday, a post-primary school Mass in Lattin on Wednesday at 7.30 am, a primary school Mass in Cullen on the same day at 11.30 am and a candlelight procession for all four parishes at the final event in Lattin GAA grounds on Friday, 24 October.
